With the victory overwhelming yes to the referendum includes Switzerland complementary medicine in the constitution. Now we are waiting for concrete measures: As a first step the introduction of law in the health system.
on May 17 Swiss citizens have been called to vote on Complementary Medicine and have argued in favor of introducing a new article in the Constitution. Switzerland is the first country in Europe, which provide for the needs of complementary medicine within the national health protection.
In recent years, medical, therapeutic and producers had been impaled, undergoing a discredited politician who had stumped the industry. The various parties concerned have decided to launch a popular initiative, promoting the referendum of May 17. In accordance with popular will, which emerged through an overwhelming vote in favor (67% yes), the constitution of the Swiss federation is introduced to the art .118 BV according to which:
"The federation and the cantons within its specific skills, are concerned to consider the Complementary Medicine. "
Parliament and the competent authorities in accordance with the constitutional principle must now commit themselves to be bearers of the following instances:
1. Registration of doctors who operate on complementary medicine anthroposophical medicine, homeopathy, neural therapy, herbal medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, within health service required.
2. Creation of national qualifications for other therapists recognized outside the medical profession.
3. Integrating Complementary Medicine in teaching and scientific research.
4. Heritage of remedies tested.
